Frequently Asked Questions.
A personal pocket guide to give a quick-start on gameplay.
What characters are accepted?

Currently, only equine-based characters are accepted. Mortals must be realistic, be it horse, zebra, donkey, mule, zorse, etc. Any horse-related animal that you could see in the world. Corlings and Nimh may be any creature of lore or imagination as long as the character is equine-based. Common examples are unicorn, pegasus, kelpie, hippocampus, kirin, hippogriff, karkadan, etc. Corelings are often deformed with horns, antlers, bones, wings, claws, fangs, tusks, etc. while Nimh are often melded with the element they control. This means that Nimh may have rocks, trees, water, lightning, fire, light, stars, etc. growing from their bodies. The creativity and uniqueness is up to you!

Where do Corelings and Nimh come from?

Corelings come from the bowels of the earth, where the core interacts with magnetic fields. They are most at home after sundown or underground, though light, while uncomfortable, does not prevent their exploits topside. Nimh are homonculus, mythical creatures born from the unnatural melding of elements, magic, and earth or space materials. Nimh are less capable after darkness falls, but do not let the night prevent their exploits.

What are bonded animals?

Bonded animals are small-medium sized animals that were gifted to mortals by the god, Dercetius, to protect, serve, and prevent the annihilation of the mortal race. Bonded animals help balance the odds of mortals against coreling and nimh alike.

Who can play a bonded animal?

Anyone! You may play your own bonded animal or place a request on the chat or update board in order to be matched with another player who will play a bonded animal for you.

Is hogging allowed?

Yes! If you want it, take it; though it may have to be won through challenging another.

I'm interested in a secret society, how do I join or create a new one?

A secret society is any group of characters that have limited or restricted access to join but who are bonded together in a certain goal. For example, a female may start up an amazonian tribe that only accepts women in their ranks or women with males as servants. The interested character must approach the current leader or a member of the secret society. A task or mission will often be given, where acceptance into the society usually depends on the task or mission being completed successfully. If there is no leader in the society, a character may put in a claim for the leadership position, but may expect to fight any other interested characters or lower-ranking members of the society to win this prize. If a secret society does not yet exist that you would like to create, please notify staff via the chat board for approval. Please note that if a secret society is too similar to a currently established society, or if too many societies exist at any one time, requests to form a new society may be denied.
